SLEEPOVER!!!!

 

Yay!!!! Just  came back from sleepover. IT WAS AWESOME!!!!

 

So basically, four people went, including me. The plan was for us to meet at Big City, Eslite in 5th floor, watch a movie, and look around. So yeah. We watched Wreck it, Ralph and then ate dinner and went to Alice's house. Yeah, and then we did the present thingy which is a traditional thing we do everytime we meet in the winter. It was fun :)

 

Then, we talked a bit...well fine, a lot and eventually fell asleep....in the morning, I found out that I was the first one to wake up...so I had to wait.....When all of us woke up, we ate breakfast and got addicted to electronics.....and nearly fell off laughing...."a piece of tissue" :D

 

And then at lunch....we had pasta with too much cheese on it :) oh and melon.....so when my mom picked me up at 3:30 carrying melon, Alice was like "NOOOOO!!!!" Hilarious :)

 

Can't wait to have our next sleepover in the summer :) :)

yesterday stuff....

 

 

Okay, so I meant to write this yesterday and one for today...but since I was a bit busy yesterday I'll just make one for yesterday and one for today....

 

So...back to the topic. Yesterday, I stayed late after school to make cookies for Humane Society because they were selling cookies for Christmas :) So it was pretty fun. We ate some of the cookies that were broken. He he. It was good.

 

I went home at seven.....so yeah....pretty busy.

Saturday

 

 

So, we had school on a Saturday...but we didn't exactly have what you called "school" We only had Chinese and half of English. You see, we had Christmas performance (unfortunately)

 

The actual performance started at 12:30 but we had to practice. It was ok....I think.Then at 11, orchestra members had to do a quick practice because we were the first ones......the other one I had to do was class dance...boys did Gangnam Style, girls did Good Girl, Bad Girl.....we did okay....pretty much same as practice except the curtain did not come down in the middle of the song :)

 

So for the rest of the performance...I just watched....but then it ended one hour early so we had music...but since it was so unexpected, the teacher let us play. We pretty much spend our time playing tag and trying not to die laughing. It was a great time

 

 

But just about like 30 minutes ago, me and Jack were cleaning Mustard's cage when we found bugs in the food. And I don't mean one or two, I mean like those kind of tiny bugs where there are like billions of it. So we had to dig out the food and kill all the bugs...which was really really hard and tiring. I was really glad when it was over, but I could hardly move my legs after....I literally dragged them....hope I have better luck next time :)



Secret Santa!!!!!

 

Yay!!! Today we found our Secret Santa in WSS. Okay, let me back up. We found out in WSS, our fourth period so we had to wait four hours unfortunately. And what's more, for the first 20 minutes we had to this stupid worksheet. All of us were like ?!?!?! So we were like rush rush rush so we could party. When 20 minutes FINALLY passed, we were like yay!!!

 

 

So all of us ate cake, drank sprite, and opened our gifts. My present was a beanie hat. I liked it. At first I didn't know who gave it to me so I was like okay.... And then I went to Karen Yen and asked her cuz I knew she knew. I gave her the puppy eyes. When that didn't work, I gave her the "I-will-look-in-your-soul-until-you-tell-me" look and then she finally told me. It was herself. I was like thank you!!! It was fun

 

And then at lunch, we watched or rather listened to music. Some boys were like singing on top of their lungs and most of the girls were thinking "..." But we still had regular class after :(

 

But it was still fun!!!!:)

 

HAPPY SECRET SANTA PEOPLE!

Yay!!!!

 

Yay!!! So happy today!!!!

 

 

In Scouting class, we did BBQ. It was so fun. A lot of people were crying because the smoke got in their eyes. I don't blame them. I was doing the same thing.

 

 

So we're divided into 4 groups. My group had 7 people in it, 5 girls, and 2 boys. Yay. So we started the fire. Well, actually we tried. It sort of failed because it kept going out so we had to use matches, which worked okay but still went out so we used a lighting device (not a lighter!) Anyways, it worked and we started cooking. The fire was tiny but we still managed to cook a lot of things. It was good. :) And then we started roasting marshmallows. That was when the fire started getting bigger so we were like "What the?!"And then when we had to clean up, Hong got a bag, filled it up with water and dumped it in the fire, freaking out all the girls cuz we didn't see that coming. But we had a good laugh over it.

 

But it was still good :) Had a great time. Everybody smelled like smoke so when we entered 7B classroom, they were like "Why do you guys smell like smoke" And we said "BBQ" So they asked how it was we were like good.

 

Then, Mr. Morrison announced in Humanities that WSS was gonna be canceled tomorrow and we were gonna have a Christmas party. So we were like yay :)

 

Can't wait for tomorrow!!!! Secret Santas will be revealed  tomorrow!!! Come on!!!! :) :) :)

Weekly Meeting

 

 

 

He he. Today we had Weekly Meeting as usual.

 



For the first 30 minutes, we practiced our Christmas performance......We still need to improvise.....it's a bit of a mess....

Then in the last 20 minutes, we decorated our classroom for Christmas. It was fun!!!We put a mistletoe in front of our door then put a poster on top that said Merry Christmas!!! Beware Mistletoe. Then we decorated the inside.

We also have a Christmas tree. But it's the tiny kind....and that's where were suppose to put our presents....although I have no idea how we are gonna do that...but the decoration was fun.

All of us basically late for Life Science for that...but it was great. A lot of people were trying not to walk under the mistletoe at the same time :P

Yay! Secret Santa on Friday. Can't wait!!!! :) :)

A Typical Friday? Definitely NOT :)

So as everybody knows, today was a Friday. Duh. But it wasn't a typical Friday for 7A. It was the most hilarious one so far :) Anyways, the day started off with 2 tests, Math and Science. That wasn't exactly the good part. After the 2 tests, all of were tired. I mean like REALLY tired because we had a lot of homework that day and we thought the Science test would be hard. (It was actually very easy....=.= Wasted time on studying it...ugh)

Anyways, back to the topic. After Science, it was PE. We were having our soccer session. After we practice a couple of drills, we played a game, girls by themselves and boy by theirselves. And while playing soccer, a lot of funny things happened at once. Like when Tiffany decided to kick a high ball. She succeeded except it went backwards instead of forwards. All of us started laughing. Oh and Karen Yen kept screaming when the ball came towards her. It. was. hilarious.

After PE, it was English then lunch. Not much happened in English or lunch. Then after lunch was double Chinese....still not much. But in CSS it was great. We were doing presentations about Taiwan tribes. So Karen had to finish her presentation that we didn't finish last time. And we had to take notes for each presentation except our own. So we were yelling at her not to go on to the next slide. Very big chaos especially since it was only 9 people. And then it was my turn. I decided not to go to the next page that fast...it was okay except for one time Shaun and Jerry was singing and then Shaun stop singing. Jerry was left singing....so it was awkward because the whole room was quiet. Anyways, after me, went Jasmine Chen. Her presentation made us laugh the heck out of ourselves. So basically, Jasmine just kept clapping like when she's saying "The Atayal people fish (clap), hunt (clap), plant (clap), and pick berries (clap)." All of us were trying to clap at the same time as Jasmine and laughing like crazy so we could hardly take notes. And then the bell rang. And Jasmine was like "What, school's over?!?! But I still got like 10 pages left in my presentation!!!!" All of us fell over laughing.

Since today was a Friday, I had orchestra. So me, Karen C, An-che, Stephanie, Sally, and Sammi played tag at breakk time. Then when it was time to get back, all of us were sweating and panting. And from time to time, we would exchange glances and try not to laugh.

THIS WAS THE BEST FRIDAY I EVER HAD PEOPLE!!! I THINK.....

Christmas Performance

 



So yeah. I should have post this yesterday but I didn't have enough time. Ugh, homework. Anyways....Christmas Performance....We practice every Monday in Music class and Wednesday in Weekly Meeting. Our Christmas performance is next Saturday!!!!And we are so going to embarrass ourselves in from of the crowd. I mean seriously.

So we only have 2 practice sessions left....and we have to dance. Boys dance Gangnam Style (*roll eyes* why aren't they tired of it yet?!) Girls dance Bad Girl, Good Girl by Miss A (K-Pop) Girls started pretty early and we're doing okay. But boys...they started learning their moves about the same time as us. Except....they only practice in music class and not in weekly meeting because they're eyes are glued (almost literally) to their video games are whatever. At least yesterday they did it.

But they don't put effort in it because they are "shy" to do it when usually they dance their heads off in class. But that's the problem. They're doing in front of 18 girls and they are shy. But the crowd is like 50 times bigger then the number of girls....What are we gonna do.....

As for girls, we had to keep adding moves because the room moms tell us to make it longer....*sigh* Well, hope all goes well.....oh right, I have to do orchestra for christmas performance....3 songs-Jupiter stuff stuff stuff (no, that's not what it's called, I just forgot), Spongebob Squarepants theme song (when everybody got the music score, everybody started laughing the heck off), and White Christmas...which is the only Christmas song....wish me luck peeps...if you want to that is....

PAS Sports Day

So today was PAS Sports Day. I didn't really need to come....but I just did :) Anyways, it was pretty fun. At first, it wasn't raining but later...it started to rain....pretty hard. I watch my friends do their events. And the whole time....Alice constantly kept hugging me....and teachers asked me if I like my new school...and I just said it was ok.....meh.....

The last event was tag. Jack decided to play too...except he got his hair wet so that you could shape his hair into something....like Mohawk style :) Pretty funny. A lot of people were slipping because it was raining. When Sports Day ended, we had to go home...I said goodbye to friends....hope to see them soon :):)

Secret Santa

 

 

YAY!!!! This year, our class is doing Secret Santa. AWESOME!!!!:):) Well, unless if you got a boy...but still. Anyways, we made a rule saying that the present must be 200nt to 400nt.

 

 

Anyways, I was Secret Santa for Anita, who was the top student and is very nice, helpful, and funny. I sit right in front of her :P She is a One Direction fan. What should I get for a girl who likes One Direction? I mean sure One Direction stuff but I don't know where   :(. What am I suppose to do? Please put suggestions before next week Friday.

Oh no!!! Orchestra Competition

So today was Orchestra Competition. We were like super nervous. The good thing was we get to skip 4 classes. But we got to skip one class because we were eating lunch. :D What was more, we get to eat it much earlier than them. Yay!!! :)

But when we actually arrived at the competition place, all of us was sitting nervously. Except I wasn't really nervous because I wanted to go to sleep :P You can't really blame me for sleeping at 11 yesterday. Anyways, so we were on stage soon after a loooonnnngggg miserable of waiting.

It was so awkward on the stage because every sound we made just echoed through the room. But we did okay in the playing. In fact, the IBSH orchestra officers just send this email that said: "Hey Y'all!

Just wanted to say that the IBSHO officers are so so SO proud of you all for today's performance at the city-wide competition.

As you probably know already, we got 優等 which is fricking amazing! We'll be going to Nationals' in the Spring...so keep it up!

Crystal's Birthday Party

 

 

 

Today was Crystal's birthday. Well, fine. Technically, it was yesterday, but we had the birthday party today because it was the weekends. All the girls were invited, but only 8 came, which were: Anita, Anne, Tiffany, Jasmine Perng, Julia, Karen Yen, Erin, and me. But it was still fun!!!

So this is what happened. When everybody came, we started playing musical chairs. I know we're too old for that, but sometimes, it's good to be a kid again :D Anyways, when we got tired of that, we played musical statues, then charades. After that, we played Monkeys and Uno Stacko. When it was about 4:00, we decided to hide gifts while Crystal was out of the room. What we didn't tell Crystal was that we hid under the table and turned off all the lights. It was so funny!!! When Crystal came by, Erin scared the daylights out of her by coming out under the table and acting like a zombie. All of us started laughing and Crystal continued searching. After that we ate cake. It was good!!! (Although it had too much cream on it...but still!!)

After this, people started going home. The birthday party was fun. Too bad for the people who missed it :P jk:)

Orchestra

Today, we ended one hour later than usual for orchestra. Why? Well, we have a competition on Wednesday coming up and we need extra practice. Yay...I think...because we get to skip WSS, Weekly Meeting, and double Life science:) We also have Monday practice because of it. We play 2 songs, Waltz of the Flowers and Jupiter something something. (No, that is not what it said, I just forgot.)

Today's practice was a dress rehearsal, so boys wore ties and girls were very very long skirts. We didn't choose to wear them!!! The company we chose just decided to make skirts like aprons for some weird reason.....Anyways, it went pretty well. Go peeps!!!!

Okay I'm finished. Oh, what was that about? Well, this is the beginning of second quarter and the teachers gave us a stack of homework which included tests, essays, and presentations. What the heck?!?!

So right now, here's my due dates

English: Rough draft of Animal Farm essay due tomorrow. Chapter 2 Power of One questions due tomorrow.

WSS: 3 questions due Friday

Math: 5-7 Written Exercise (Even) Due Tomorrow

Science: Test 5 on Monday. Bring Scissors, glue, and color pencils by Friday

Chinese: Test on Monday

CSS: Tribe Presentation due Dec.11

So now you know why I'm going crazy.....Gotta finish it.....Bye....

STUPID RAINING DAY!!!!

So it was raining like crazy today and since we have to go out to go to other building for classes like Life Science. And let me tell you, it is NOT FUN!!! Our books got wet and it was soooo cold. I regret wearing short pants. I mean, I regret it A LOT. I don't get why we can't have all the classes in one building......

Well....as for our cleaning jobs.....I pretty much got the trash bag pretty wet before I even got to the recycle house.....depressing thoughts.....

I JUST WISH THE STUPID RAIN WOULD GO AWAY OR AT LEAST STOP RAINING THIS HARD SO IT SOUNDS LIKE SOMEONE'S POUNDING ON THE WINDOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know it's not Thanksgiving today, but we had the thanksgiving lunch today anyways. It was really fun!!!We spend 2 hours eating lunch and watching a Youtube video. A lot of people were laughing their heads off. We watched the Youtube video in 7A classroom but the food was in 7B....Anyways, we had a lot of fun.

Also, today we got our report cards back. *Gasp* I thought I would get really sucky grades since I got a C+ on English midterm. Surprisingly, I got pretty good grades. All straight A's. Yay! :)

Field Day

Yeah, yeah. I know Field Day was couple days ago, but I'm still gonna talk about it. So, what did I do on  Field Day? Well, first I had to wake up at 6:50 AM and go to school. Then we just start Field Day. First it was just the march and then the running began. I only needed to run the class relay, so I had to wait until 1:30 pm. I basically had nothing to do, so I just walked with Jasmine Perng. (We have 2 Jasmines and 2 Karens in our class) Then when it was lunch time, we went back to our classroom and ate lunch (duh) The lunch was a little weird. It was a sandwich that contained "yellow, salty pudding with bubbles in it" as Claire described it. :)

So after lunch, we got ready for class relay. One of my friends were saying to all the girls in the class relay "Are we gonna use spirit to win?" And all of us were like "No" "Are we gonna win?" "No" "Are we gonna lose?" "Yes" Turns out it was right. My class, 7A was last, while 7B was second to last, which helped us with our spirits :):)

After Field Day, we were pretty exhausted but some girls and I decided to go to Paspi to grab a snack. While we waited, we played some card games. Pretty fun. After our snacks came, some of the girls started using the cards to build a pyramid. Pretty funny to watch. A lot of us were laughing. That was such a fun time :):)

WHAT THE HECK?!?!

 

So....Guess what the teachers decided to give us right after Midterms? PROJECTS!!! STUPID, STUPID PROJECTS!!! I mean, can you believe it? Well...not all of them gave projects but we already have 2. For Science, we have to do a project about the process of meiosis. (Ugh) And for WSS, we have to do some research about early civilization. Both of them are so BORING!!!

Oh yeah. I also mentioned midterms before. We got most of our test back but not English and WSS. Have to wait. Surprisingly, I did not fail CSS, although it is my lowest score for now. (Actually, it's only 1 point less than my Science :p) Got a perfect score for Math though. :) Yay.

Tomorrow is Field Day. Basically like Sport's Day, except most of the events were done over this week. After all, this school is much bigger and we're doing it with the other side and if we did all the events on one day, we would have to stay until the night or something, which I would prefer NOT do. So tomorrow, we only have march and class relay. But we still get to wear our class T-shirts :):) Yippee

Ah...well. That's it. The end. Bye bye.

AHHHH!!!!MIDTERMS....are finally over :):)

YAY!!!! MIDTERMS ARE OVER!!!NOW I CAN USE THE COMPUTER AGAIN!!!! NOW ALL I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IS MY TEST RESULTS!!!

So, yeah. Basically it was only 2 days, Monday and Tuesday. We had English, Math, and Life Science on Monday and CSS, Chinese, and WSS on Tuesday. And all everybody did was worry, worry, worry, because a lot of us were pretty nervous. But now were free :):) Yay!

Project & Midterms....

So, yesterday, I meant to post up another blog, but I didn't have enough time. You know why? Cuz my dad's car ran out of battery. AGAIN. This is the second time this week and it isn't fun waiting for 2 hours. This is what happened:
Yesterday, I had to go to Crystal's house to do a video. So my dad had to pick me up and send me back home. So he did. Or he half did. When he arrived at the restaurant where we were eating dinner and doing homework, the car stopped moving. So Crystal's dad helped us get to the car fixing place. (I have no idea what to call it) The person told us to come back tomorrow, so we went back home. Or tried. We didn't even move a kilometer when the car stopped moving. I had to wait there for 2 hours while my dad and his friend (who he met coincidentally) tried to move the car. I got so bored in the car that I started doing homework and it was almost more interesting than waiting. Almost. Dad's friend gave us a ride home and when we arrived, it was 10. I felt so depressed. :(

So, this morning, I was feeling quite tired after the disaster last night. And nothing cheered me up. All I keep hearing was the word "midterms, midterms, midterms" since I have midterms on Monday and Tuesday. Not a very good week eh? DEFINITELY!!!And so now I'm stuck in the house studying midterms and finishing up other  homework....*Sigh*....Miserable, miserable week.

Hope next week would be better....:):)

UNICEF Carnival :)))

So, today was Halloween and the school had a event. It was called UNICEF Carnival, but basically, it was like spring fair except it was indoors.

We have to sell stuff or sponsor games in order to earn money. 7A selled drinks and pizza. We immediately sold out before it was half over :))) So after my shift, I went to Humane Club to help out with their booth. Fairly easy. Well, except for the part that I had to watch people stuff their mouth with marshmallows (which was VERY disgusting), it was okay. I think....But UNICEF Carnival was okay. The bad thing was, we only have one and a half hour!!!ONLY!!! SO LESS!!!

But I suppose I did have a pretty fun time missing Humanities :) At least I didn't have to listen to the teacher, while trying to stay awake at the same time (This is not fun. You would not want to get caught by the teacher)

School

Okay, so this is my first time putting up a blog. So......oh let's just get this over with.

So, like the title says, this is about my school life. I have so much homework these days. Teachers just enjoy seeing students suffer don't they? They give us homework and tests and projects and....well... stuff. Okay, so back to the topic. I have Science Test on Monday, along with a project. Check, finish that. I have to answer 16 questions to answer for English. Hmmm...yep, all done. Then I have to study for Chinese Test on Monday. Check. Ah ha!!!Finished with my homework!!! All though it took such a long time.....Oh great. I have stupid midterms soon. *Sigh* Why can't there be a world without any tests or homework or....well, you get the idea.

So, I guess this is it for now.....Lights out everybody :)
